Refund Policy
Cancel anytime and keep access through the period you paid for. No refunds as a rule — with fair exceptions.

1. The Short Version
OOFmode Pro (Savage Mode) is a US $10 per month subscription billed in advance through PayPal. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Because there is a generous free tier you can use to evaluate the product before paying, we generally do not provide refunds for subscription fees already charged — but we do make exceptions in the situations described below, and we always honor your mandatory legal rights.
2. Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your billing page or through your PayPal account. When you cancel:
- Your subscription will not renew, and you will not be charged again.
- You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
- After that, your account automatically returns to the free tier — your data and history are not deleted.
3. General No-Refund Policy
Subscriptions are billed in advance for a one-month term. We do not provide refunds or pro-rated credits for: partial months, periods during which you did not use the Service, days remaining after a cancellation, or upgrades you later decide you did not need. This is because you can fully evaluate OOFmode on the free tier before subscribing, and because the cost of the underlying AI processing is incurred as you use the Service.
4. When We Do Issue Refunds (Exceptions)
We believe in being fair. We will review and, where appropriate, grant a refund in situations such as:
- Duplicate or accidental charges — for example, you were billed twice for the same period.
- Billing after cancellation — you were charged for a renewal after you had already cancelled.
- Failure to deliver — a sustained technical problem on our side prevented you from using the Pro features you paid for, and we could not resolve it.
- Unauthorized payment — a charge was made without authorization (please also contact your payment provider).
- Mandatory legal rights — where consumer protection law in your jurisdiction grants you a right to a refund or cooling-off period, we honor it.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund under one of the exceptions above, email varunpatwaipf@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, within 14 days of the charge. Please include your account email, the approximate date and amount of the charge, and a short description of the issue. We aim to respond within a few business days.
6. How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through PayPal. Once we approve a refund, it is typically processed within 5–10 business days, though the exact timing depends on PayPal and your bank or card issuer. When a refund is issued, the related Pro access for that period may be revoked.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve billing issues quickly and fairly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
8. Price Changes
We may change the subscription price on a going-forward basis. Any change will be communicated with reasonable notice and will only apply to billing periods after the change takes effect — it will never retroactively affect a period you have already paid for.
